Ever know somebody too nice? Lovable, but you just want to smack them?
That’s Bob (Adrain Martinez), 34, witty and self-deprecating. Bob meets
the right girl. Smart and beautiful. Her beauty turns out to be a
problem, because now Bob has to compete. Eric (Alex Lyras) has known
Bob for 15 years. They roomed together when they first hit New York.
Eric is forced to move back in with Bob. During the move, Bob brings
along his new girl, Mona (Kristen Lewis). She’s 22 and comes from an
affluent background, but wants to make it on her own. She longs for the
bohemian life-style she read about in books, but her temp job is
dousing her dreams. That’s when Mona meets Eric. He makes a nutty pass
at her, half hoping she slaps him. She doesn’t. Mona loves Bob, but
with Eric there are sparks. Now Eric and Bob are living together and
Mona is the minefield between them. Are the guys kidding themselves
about her, or is this a love worth losing a best-friend?

Sam (Jessica Alba) and Jared (Paul Walker) are a young couple in the Bahamas, divers and aspiring treasure hunters. While the arrogant salvager Bates (Josh Brolin) has loads of expensive equipment, Jared gets by with a small, battered boat. Jared and Sam find a historic wreck, but nearby is a wrecked airplane with a large quantity of cocaine. Jared and Sam want the treasure; their diving partners also want the drugs. Dangerous criminals realize the plane and cocaine are submerged somewhere in the area. When the bad guys learn that the couple has located the drugs, Jared and Sam find themselves in mortal peril.

Tony Stark is the complete playboy who also happens to be an engineering genius. While in Afghanistan demonstrating a new missile he’s captured and wounded. His captors want him to assemble a missile for them but instead he creates an armored suit and a means to prevent his death from the shrapnel left in his chest by the attack. He uses the armored suit to escape. Back in the U.S. he announces his company will cease making weapons and he begins work on an updated armored suit only to find that Obadiah Stane, his second in command at Stark industries has been selling Stark weapons to the insurgents. He uses his new suit to return to Afghanistan to destroy the arms and then to stop Stane from misusing his research.

Larry dares Chuck one day to eat a dead rat, but he falls from the ladder that he was going to the drop the rat from. Chuck saves him but the two are rushed to the hospital and quickly recover. Larry calls in that favor big time when civic red tape prevents him from naming his two kids as his pension beneficiaries. All that Chuck has to do is claim to be Larry’s domestic partner on some city forms. They think it will be easy because nobody will ever know.
